Debbie Bertram holds a wealth of knowledge from her extensive experience in the marketing research field. She has held senior management positions at Marion Laboratories/Marion Merrell Dow (now Sanofi-Aventis). Her responsibilities with this major pharmaceutical company included strategic planning, business intelligence, and marketing, as well as marketing research. Additionally, Debbie served as Vice President of a full-service pharmaceutical marketing research firm and President/COO of a custom market research firm specializing in new media applications and interactive technologies. She also founded an organization that helped health care professionals improve their patient communication skills. As President of Bertram Group, she applies her expert project design, moderating/ interviewing, analytical, and facilitation skills to ensure the overall quality of research, consulting, and account services provided to the company’s clients.

Articles written by Debbie have been published in Product Management Today , Journal of Pharmaceutical Marketing & Management, Journal of Management, and Police Chief. She has made presentations  and served on panels at meetings of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association, Greater Kansas City Area Chamber of Commerce, University of Missouri Bloch School of Business, PMRG, IPMRG, Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals, Association of American Medical Colleges, Alliance for Continuing Medical Education, and Rhode Island Academy of Family Physicians.

Debbie completed her MBA, with a concentration in marketing, at Rockhurst College and her MA in sociology at The University of Missouri-Columbia. Her BA in Liberal Arts, with a major in sociology was earned cum laude from Wichita State University. Current memberships include The American Marketing Association, Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group, and Qualitative Research Consultants Association.  She serves on the Board of Directors for The Research Foundation (a charitable organization focused on improving community health) is Chair of the Advisory Board of the Harmon Diabetes Center and is Co-Chair of the Greater Kansas City Chapter, The Ninety-Nines, International Organization of Women Pilots.
